Ormai sono quasi alla fine dell’anno scolastico più lungo; voglio finisca subito ma non ho nemanco voglia di fare gli esami. Adesso iniziano ad arrivare i risultati delle simulazioni, inglese 14/15, matematica 9/10, e le altre arriveranno ““presto””, del resto i prof hanno sempre 10 classi no? (e noi abbiamo sempre 8 materie ma ciò non importa, eh?). Oh beh. Adesso Myricae ha finalmente un passeggero regolare oltre a me! la mia cartella! pesando 20kg faccio fatica a portarla su di una spalla sola anche solo per il tragitto casa-scuola quindi ho comprato delle corde elastiche con ganci così da tenere la cartella fissa sul sedile del passeggero attaccando i ganci al telaio della moto che pare quasi fatto apposta. È davvero un ottimo passeggero, non cerca di prendere farfalle durante il tragitto, non cerca di buttarsi giù dalla moto etc… ah! siamo anche arrivati a 28000km, fra poco cambio olio e controllo generale prima del viaggio a Vienna.

Tra l’altro questo spazio web va ancora, il che mi sorprende, quelli di AlterVista sono stati davvero gentili ad aumentare le quote per i membri gratuiti qualche tempo fa. Chissà per quanto esisterà ancora altervista, spero solo non faccia la fine di GeoCities. magari tra decadi e decadi potrò ancora vedere questo mio diario virtuale. E pensare che era iniziato tutto con l’idea di fare un sito per la ns. classe del liceo che poi è fallita alla stragrande come idea ma intanto ci ho rimediato la conoscenza di 5-6 tag html.

Finalmente il passat ha fatto 100000 km! mi spiace però che li abbia raggiunti nel mentre che andavo a ripetizioni, sarebbe stato più bello sulla SS12 ma vabbeh. Tra l’altro ormai sono finiti i rientri del mercoledì, abbiamo fatto la simulazione di marketing, strano che non abbia salvato la mia prova in posta inviata, spero solo che Spagna l’abbia ricevuta. Inoltre non mi spiego come mai in storia scritta vado sempre da cani ma in storia orale vado sempre bene, una vera seccatura.

Dopodomani compio vent’anni, dé mi sento vecchio! ancora così tante cose da fare e così poco tempo… Come regalo di compleanno pensavo di far stampare questa immagine su una maglietta

Devo ancora finire di tracciare alcuni dettagli, ma è un “vector” del mio passat, ispirato dal logo del gioco Dirt2 nel quale c’è un’auto da rally stilizzata che salta all’interno di un fumetto.

Ah, facebook. cos’ha di tanto speciale? come mai non possiamo usare tutti quanti dei bei blog come wordpress? tagga qui tagga là, se non inserisci messaggi ogni ora diventi matto etc… È proprio necessario mettere ogni aspetto di sé in vetrina?

Alla fine mi chiedo chi legga questo blog… Mi chiedo se qualche archivio del web l’abbia catalogato, e fino a che punto. Archive.org non ha niente. oh beh, altervista è abbastanza affidabile fintanto che è poca gente a passare quindi molto probabilmente questo spazio web scamperà tanto quanto me.

Ditelo a quelli, chiedetelo ai pochi, che hanno una donna.

I have finally decided to upgrade my old hardware, which wasn’t old really, but not up to new games’ requirements actually. My gaming rig is now configured as follows:

• CPU: E7400 OC’d @ 3.2
• RAM: 2 x 2GB @ 800mhz
• GFX: HD5870 (soon to be sent in RMA due to problems)
• SND: Creative  SB X-Fi Fatal1ty edition
• HDD: 4 SATA, various sizes, 1 SATA on a RAID controller,160GB
• PSU: 800W

Despite the graphics card being silly and all, it works very well, I’m installing windows 7 64bit at the moment, I’m already using it on the EEEbox and this net book and it’s quite awesome; hopefully it’ll help performance a bit, since the old XP installation got quite sloppy over time, didn’t format though, keeping it.

Today i wanted to recharge the SIM card on my HSDPA modem for the net book, damn thing had expired so i had to fork out 15€ more to get a new one, at least tomorrow I’ll have something better to do rather than just listening music on the lunch break at school.

Just finished installing W7 and it’s running pretty smooth, already detected network drivers so i managed to get basic software setups off my server, I had already forgotten that now that it’s 64bit I should get appropriate setup files, luckily it can  still run 32bit stuff, I wonder if i had any 16bit program that I’ll need XP mode for; oh well, I didn’t keep the good ol’ xp for nothing so might as well use it

After a long week and two days of loads of oral and written tests all i have to do is to bear tomorrow’s school assembly and the I’ll finally be able my long-awaited holidays! obviously I’m not even thinking of doing homework; but i am going to keep study German using Rosetta Stone, the best language learning program I’ve seen so far (www.rosettastone.com). Also, lately I’ve been using Melchiorre (my gaming rig) far less than usual for the last electricity bill wasn’t nice at all; I might as well install Rosetta on the EEEBOX I’m using atm too, which, despite what one may believe, is a pretty good computer and most of all, consumes only 20W instead of Melchiorre that sucks up 550W and is going to be upgraded to 800W for xmas, the new 5870 is going to need lots of power. My attempt to turn Gasparre into an FTP server failed miserably, looks like my ISP is tampering with me, again. seriously what did they give me a public IP for if I can’t let people access my server from outside!?

You might have noticed that all the previous entries are in Italian, my native language, I decided to change for it is far more probable to have English speaking readers rather than my so called “friends”; facebook is where it’s at for them, join every single group you can find and brag about it is their modus operandi, hell, before joining that site the only group i had was the blood type (referred to as blood group in Italian, therefore, pun intended).

Thank Altervista.org for the nice free hosting I’m getting, while the MySQL database sucks and has a very low daily query limit it is enough for this blog and the photogallery, with the latter being taken over by Dropbox (www.dropbox.com), which is simply fantastic for hosting large and small files to the public. I’m still going to bitch at the ISP to get the ftp running, just for the heck of it.
